Duties and responsibilities

• Preparation, purification and analytical characterisation of amino acid derivatives and peptides
• Carrying out various solid-phase peptide syntheses, primarily by the Merrifield method
• Reaction control, preparative purification and characterisation of the end products by reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC)
• Documenting experiments and results in clear protocols
